LINCOLN, Rhode Island ---- CCRI found the back of the net five times in the second half to defeat the Massasoit women's soccer team, 7-0, on Wednesday afternoon.

Massasoit (3-2) held the Knights at bay for much of the first half, trailing just 2-0 at intermission.

However, CCRI broke things open in the second half, as McKenna Leahy netted a hattrick to give the Knights the victory.

Anya Welch-Batstone led the Warriors with four shots, one coming on frame.

Massasoit is off until Saturday, when the travel to Holyoke for a 1 PM contest.
