Silva-Moore, Dias Garner All-Region 21 Accolades

BROCKTON, Mass. ---- Freshmen Geornaisha Silva-Moore and Tatiana Dias, both from Brockton, were selected to the All-Region 21 Women's Basketball Teams, announced Monday by the conference office.

Silva-Moore was selected to the All-Region First Team, averaging 16.1 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 3.0 steals per game. The shooting guard posted eight 20-plus point performances and recorded a triple-double in the MCCAC semifinals victory against Bunker Hill CC.

Dias, the Warriors' point guard, was selected to the All-Region Second Team, posting 16.2 points, 6.0 assists, 4.5 rebounds and 3.0 steals per game on average. During the season, Dias posted a triple-double of her own against Quinsigamond and poured in a career-high 33 points on the road at UConn Avery Point.
