WORCESTER, Mass. ---- Competing in back-to-back games with only five players, the Massasoit women's basketball team ran out of steam at Quinsigamond CC on Wednesday night, falling 43-32.

Massasoit (1-15) stayed within striking distance in the first half, trailing 21-13 at the break. Tiana McQueen netted nine of her team-high 13 points in the opening period.

In the second half, the Warriors played neck and neck with the Quinsigamod, but tired legs and playing the last four minutes down a player proved too much to overcome, as Massasoit fell to the home Wyverns.

Marrissa Spivey was next in the scoring department for the Warriors, finishing with eight points, all in the second half. She also recorded nine rebounds. Stephanie Robbins chipped in with five points in the loss.

McQueen ended the night with her 13th double-double of the season, pulling down 11 boards to go along with her 13 points.
