CONCORD, N.H. ---- The Massasoit CC women's basketball fell behind early and was unable to bounce back, falling to Berkeley College, 65-49, on Sunday afternoon in the NHTI Holiday Inn New Year Tournament Finals.

The loss for the Warriors snapped a seven-game win streak, as they fell to 7-4 on the season.

"We just ran out of gas today," head coach Mark Brathwaite. "We played well at times, but did not shoot well. Berkeley was able to go on some runs and that was the difference in the game."

Marina Palladino (Carver/Carver HS) led the Warriors with 15 points, while Fredi Lawson (Boston/J.E. Burker HS) added 11 in the loss.  Both Palladino and Lawson were named to the all-tournament team.
