BROCKTON, Mass. ---- Giovani Pretzantzin found the back of the net in the 89th minute to allow ASA Brooklyn to escape Warrior Field with a 1-0 win against the Massasoit men's soccer team.
Massasoit drops to 2-5-1 with the loss and will travel to CCRI on Tuesday for a divisional showdown in Lincoln, R.I.
The Warriors had plenty of scoring chances in the opening stanza, using the wind to their advantage. Unfortunately, Massasoit was unable to cash in any of those scoring opportunities, rifling off eight shots in the first half.
Massasoit goalie David Isaac (Brockton) made five saves in the loss.
