BROCKTON, Mass. ---- Kessy Alves (Brockton/Southeastern Voc.) posted his first collegiate hat trick as the Massasoit men's soccer team earned a dominant 7-0 victory against the American International College (AIC) JV team on Sunday afternoon at Warrior Field.

Massasoit upped its record to 6-4 and hosts CCRI on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m.

Alves' performance on Sunday was part of an outstanding week for the freshman. The Brockton native scored one goal in the first half and two more in the second against AIC. For the week, Alves netted five goals and dished out three assists as Massasoit has now won four straight matches.

Sidney Cardoso (Portugal) netted a pair of goals in the win, while Andrew Revanales (Trinidad/Sharon HS) and Elvis Andrade (Brockton/Penn Foster HS (Pa.)) also found the back of the net on Sunday.

Mason Lobo made four saves for Massasoit's second straight clean sheet.

The Warriors outshot AIC 39-9 for the game.
