HOLYOKE, Mass. ---- Freshman Kessy Alves (Brockton/Southeastern Voc) produced a career day on the pitch, scoring his first collegiate goal and assisting on three others as the Massasoit men's soccer team topped the Holyoke Cougars, 4-1, on Tuesday afternoon.

Massasoit evened up its overall record at 4-4 and will play another road game on Thursday with a trip to NHTI.

HCC (1-7) struck first in the contest, as Wilson Fidalgo rifled a shot that ricocheted off a Warrior defender that found the back of the net in the 10th minute of action.

The Warriors answered early and often after falling behind to the hometown Cougars. Alves netted his first collegiate goal in the 15th minute, and would set up a goal for reigning NSCAA Player of the Week Elvis Andrade (Brockton/Penn Foster HS (Pa.)) just five minutes later.

Andrew Revanales (Trinidad/Sharon HS) tacked on goals in the 30th and 32nd minutes of play, both being assisted by Alves as all five goals in the match were scored in the opening stanza.
