HOLYOKE, Mass. ---- Freshman Kessy Alves (Brockton/Southeastern Voc) produced a career day on the pitch, scoring his first collegiate goal and assisting on three others as the Massasoit men's soccer team topped the Holyoke Cougars, 4-1, on Tuesday afternoon.

Massasoit evened up its overall record at 4-4 and will play another road game on Thursday with a trip to NHTI.

HCC (1-7) struck first in the contest, as Wilson Fidalgo rifled a shot that ricocheted off a Warrior defender that found the back of the net in the 10^th minute of action.

The Warriors answered early and often after falling behind to the hometown Cougars. Alves netted his first collegiate goal in the 15^th minute, and would set up a goal for reigning NSCAA Player of the Week Elvis Andrade (Brockton/Penn Foster HS (Pa.)) just five minutes later.

Andrew Revanales (Trinidad/Sharon HS) tacked on goals in the 30^th and 32^nd minutes of play, both being assisted by Alves as all five goals in the match were scored in the opening stanza.
