BROCKTON, Mass. ---- Trailing 2-1 with under 20 minutes to go in the match, the Massasoit men's soccer team closed out the contest at a feverous pace, netting three goals in an eight-minute span to hold off Bunker Hill, 4-2, on Wednesday at Warrior Field.

Bunker Hill shell shocked the Warriors in the opening stanza, leading 2-0 after only 24 minutes of action.

However, just 30 seconds after the Bulldogs (5-4) second goal, forward Andrew Revanales (Trinidad/Sharon HS) was taken down in the box for a penalty kick. Freshman Jose Erazo (Hyannis/Barnstable HS) buried the PK to cut the Warrior deficit in half.

Visiting Bunker Hill continued to hold the one-goal advantage up until the 74th minute of action, when Revanales took a pass from Elvis Andrade (Brockton/Penn Foster (Pa.)) and netted the match's equalizer.

Revanales' goal sparked the play of the Warriors, as it only took four minutes for Andrade to fire a rocket from the top of the box for what proved to be the game-winner in the 81st minute. Less than two minutes later, Andrade took a cross from Sidney Cardoso (Setubal, Portugal) as an insurance goal.

"We really only played 10 minutes of soccer at the end of the game," Massasoit head coach Rui Estrela said. "And that changed the whole game, because we finally decided to play in the last 10 minutes. Honestly it was a poor effort all the way around. I was really disappointed in the team's effort today. It is great that we came back and got the win, but overall I was very disappointed."

Mason Lobo (Brockton) made six saves in net for Massasoit (3-4) as the win snapped a three-game losing streak for the Warriors.

The Warriors are off until Tuesday, Sept. 29, when the Warriors head out west to take on Holyoke CC with kick off set for 4 p.m.
