BROCKTON, Mass. ---- Sophomore Chris McMorrow (Weymouth) fired a match-low 79 to lead the Massasoit golf team on Wednesday afternoon at D.W. Field Golf Course.

The reigning 2018 Region 21 Champions returned McMorrow, who shot even par on the front-nine and fellow sophomore Shawn McIsaac of Avon. McIsaac finished with a 95.

A trio of newcomers round out head coach Mike Croatti's squad in Dan McColgan (Whitman), Bobby Belezos (Holbrook) and Ricky Sherlock (Whitman). McColgan carded a 93 and Belezos and Sherlock each posted 97s on Wednesday.

Bristol was led by Nick Mello's 83 and Tommy Lippsett's 87.

D.W. Field will serve as Massasoit's home course in 2019, as the Warriors will hold all practices at the 18-hole course in Brockton.
