BROCKTON, Mass. ---- The Massasoit Community College men's golf squad was named an NJCAA All-Academic Team for the 2014-15 year.
The Warriors' roster compiled of six student-athletes, John Barkas (Holbrook), Mike Barry (Abington), Mike Cappadona (Foxboro), Mike Clifford (Raynham), Cam Cox (Kingston) and Mike Thibeault (Halifax), who compiled a team GPA of 3.24.
Massasoit posted the 14th highest team cumulative GPA (3.24) amongst all NJCAA golf teams during the 2014-15 academic year. The award marks the first NJCAA All-Academic Team award for the men's golf program.
In addition, Cappadona was named an NJCAA Student-Athlete Award winner for his excellence in the classroom.
