BROCKTON, Mass. ----- The Massasoit men's basketball team evened up its record on the season by defeating Quinsigamond, 58-41 on Saturday.

The win puts Massasoit at 12-12 overall and holds possession of the sixth and final playoff spot in six-team Region 21 Tournament.

The Warriors, which have now defeated the Wyverns four-straight times, jumped out to a 37-21 halftime lead.

Mark Georges (Brockton) led all scorers with 19 points, followed by Brockton's Malik Ibrahim with a 13 points and Bobby Belezos of Holbrook with 10 points.

For the game, the Warriors forced Quinsigamond into committing 29 turnovers and held the Wyverns to a 36.0 field goal percentage.

Massasoit travels to Quincy College on Thursday.
