WORCESTER, Mass. ---- Four players scored in double figures as the Massasoit CC men's basketball edged Quinsigamond, 83-81, in a road contest on Saturday afternoon.

Massasoit won its fourth consecutive game to improve to 9-7 on the season.

Chris Green (Taunton/Bridgton Academy) paced the Warriors, pouring in a game-high 23 points on 8-of-16 shooting. He finished 5-of-8 from 3-point range and added four assists.

Antonio Ferreira (Stoughton) posted his third straight double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Newcomer Antony Rivers (Boston/John O'Bryant Vocational) also produced a strong showing, finishing with 16 points, seven rebounds and six assists.

Anthony Conway (Boston/Walpole HS) chipped in with 10 points and six boards off the bench, while Colin Campbell (Holbrook) added nine points.

Massasoit shot 46.6 percent from the field (27-for-58) and went 9-of-20 from downtown (45 percent) in the slim victory.

Quinsigamond was led by Davohn Sicard, who finished with 21 points and eight rebounds.

The Warriors return to the hardwood on Tuesday with a road contest at Dean College.
