Dave DaSilva enters his 12th season with the Massasoit men's soccer program in 2018 as an assistant coach, primarily working with the goalkeepers.

During his time with the Warriors, alongside head coach Rui Estrela, Massasoit has captured 10 New England Region XXI Championships in the last 11 seasons and helped the team advance to the 2015 NJCAA Nationals for the first time in 20 years.

Last season, DaSilva saw the Warriors post three total shuouts with sophomore goalie Ollie Dagraca earning a spot on the All-Region 21 First Team.

In 2015, Massasoit goalies totaled nine shutouts, which featuring blanking Monroe CC 1-0 in the NJCAA Northeast District Semifinals. Massasoit allowed a slim goals against average of 1.64 as the Warriors also held opponents to one goal or fewer in 12 matches and finished ranked No. 20 in the final NJCAA DI rankings.

A former goalie at Massasoit, DaSilva helped the Warriors win back-to-back New England Championships in 1993-94 and finish in third and fourth place at the NJCAA National Tournament. In 1994, the Warriors reached as high as No. 2 in the NJCAA National Rankings.

In addition, the 1994 squad was named the NJCAA Academic Team of the Year, for their success in the classroom and on the soccer field.

After earning his Associates Degree at Massasoit, DaSilva transferred to UMass-Dartmouth, where he earned a Bachelor's of Arts in Business Information Systems.
