Julie Beckward enters her 29^th year as the Equipment Manager and Night Supervisor for the Massasoit Community College Athletics Department.

Beckward organizes, orders and maintains all the Massasoit athletics equipment and assists with field maintenance on the Brockton campus.

A former three-sport standout as a Warrior, Beckward played soccer, basketball and softball at Massasoit from 1985-87. In fact, she played on the program’s first-ever soccer team in 1986, earning a spot on the all-region first team.  Beckward helped lead Masasoit to a state championship in women’s basketball in 1986, earning all-region accolades in addition to playing softball. In 1987, Beckward was given the Massasoit Green Key Award.

After graduating from Massasoit in 1987, Beckward served as an assistant in both women’s basketball and softball from the 1990s into the early 2000s.

In the spring of 2013, Beckward, a Brockton native, was elected into the Massasoit Athletics Hall of Fame.
