Bruce Langlan Former Athletic Director HOF '10 Passes Away

Bruce C. Langlan, Massasoit Community College's first-ever Athletic Director, passed away peacefully at his home on June 10, 2025, after a long illness. A trailblazer in collegiate athletics, Bruce served as Athletic Director at Massasoit from 1970 to 1991, laying the foundation for the college's athletic programs. He also coached the men's basketball team from 1971 to 1973, dramatically improving their record from 9-11 to 18-4. Following his work in athletics, he continued to support the college as Assistant Dean of College Operations. In recognition of his enduring contributions, Bruce was inducted into the Massasoit Hall of Fame in 2010. His leadership, vision, and dedication to student-athletes left an indelible mark on the college community.
