BROCKTON, Mass. ---- In the first home match for the Massasoit volleyball program in over three decades, the Warriors earned a convincing 3-0 (25-12, 25-13, 25-23) sweep vs Northern Essex.

The victory propels the Warriors to 6-2 overall and remain perfect in regional play at 6-0.

The Warriors set the tone in the opening stanza, scoring the first 10 points thanks to the serving of freshman Emmanuella Paul (Brockton), to cruise to the three-game sweep.

Massasoit finished with 14 service aces, led by Paul's four and Colleen Luongo (Plymouth) and Caroline Curtis (Holbrook) each recorded three aces apiece.

On the attacking side, freshman middle Delaney Nagel produced a strong showing, hitting .417 (6K-1E-12TA) to lead the team along with her match-high six kills.

Paul dished out 16 assists and Curtis corralled five digs to lead Massasoit in each statistic.
