CHARLESTOWN, Mass. ---- Four different Warriors found the back of the net as the Massasoit women's soccer team topped Bunker Hill CC, 4-0, on Monday afternoon.
Massasoit evened up its record at 4-4 with the win and will travel to Quinsigamond CC on Thursday for a 6:30 PM contest. The win marked the third in a row for the Warriors.
Shelby Sprague (Stoughton) knocked home the first goal of the afternoon for Massasoit, netting her team-high 16th goal of the season off a pass from Steph Collyer (Rockland). Sprague has netted eight goals over the last three games.
Following Sprague's goal in the 34th minute of action, Massasoit struck again less than a minute later when Krista Woodworth (Norton) rocketed on shot for her second goal of the year.
Leading 2-0 at the break, Leila Dos Santos (Brockton) and Courtney Foley (Holbrook) each scored their first career goals for the Warriors to round out the winning score of 4-0. The goals came in the 57th and 58th minutes, respectively.
Kelly Cronin (Weymouth) earned her second shutout in as many games in the victory.
