BROCKTON, Mass. ---- On Monday, September 30 at the Brockton Campus, Massasoit CC President Dr. Charles Wall started construction on the new Massasoit CC Soccer Field with a groundbreaking ceremony.

President Wall was joined by current men's and women's soccer players, coaches and administrators for a small gathering to signify the beginning of the new field, which is set to be used for the start of the 2014 soccer season.

President Wall was presented with a signed soccer ball from both soccer programs by captains Torrey Mederios and Julio Gomes (men's) and Kristin Reardon (women's) as a thank you for being an instrumental part in making the facility upgrade possible.
