NBC Sports Boston to Attend Undefeated, Nationally Ranked Women's Basketball Game
BROCKTON, Mass. ---- Massasoit Community College will host Warrior Spirit Night as part of a basketball doubleheader vs Gateway Community College on Thursday, February 6, with games slated for 5:30 p.m. (women) and 7:30 p.m. (men) at the Peter Asiaf Field House.
The No. 2-ranked Massasoit women's basketball program boasts an undefeated 16-0 record and Thursday's contest will be covered by NBC Sports Boston as a feature on the Warriors impressive 2019-20 season.
The feature story will air Sunday, February 9 on NBC Sports Boston's show – Boston Sports Live – with a time to be determined.
Free Massasoit giveaways will be passed out to those in attendance and Student Life will be providing free popcorn to all fans. At halftime of the women's game, a lucky fan's name will be drawn for an Amazon gift card.
Students, faculty and staff are asked to wear their Massasoit gear and be loud and proud to show support to the Warrior student-athletes on Thursday night.
