BROCKTON, Mass. ---- Leading by just one point at the half, the Massasoit women's basketball team outscored Bristol 31-7 in the third quarter to give the Warriors an 81-54 victory on Tuesday night.
Sophomore Tati Dias (Brockton) poured in a season-high 28 points on the night, and was the spark in the team's big rally, netting 18 in the third. Dias finished 15 of 17 at the foul line in the victory and filled up the stat sheet with eight rebounds, eight assists and seven steals.
Sierra Johnson netted 12 points and Geornaisha Silva-Moore (12 points, 12 rebounds) and Monica Knight (12 points, 11 rebounds) each added double-doubles to improve the Warriors to 10-8 on the season.
Massasoit shot a season-best 80.8 (21 of 26) percent from the foul line in the win.
Megan Parrish topped Bristol with 17 points.
