WBB’s Balanced Attack Blitzes Great Bay, 99-33

PORTSMOUTH, N.H. ---- Six players scored in double figures, featuring a triple-double from Geornaisha Silva-Moore (Brockton) as the Massasoit women's basketball team blitzed past Great Bay CC, 99-33, in a road contest on Tuesday night.

The non-conference victory evens up Massasoit's record to 2-2 on the young season and will play at Bristol CC on Thursday at 6 PM.

Massasoit led by only three, 21-18, after the first quarter, but the Warriors would light up the scoreboard the rest of the night, outscoring the Herons 78-15 over the final three quarters of action.

Silva-Moore filled up the state sheet to the tune of 16 points, 10 rebounds, 10 steals and five assists for the triple-double. She sank 7-of-12 shots from the floor.

Three Warriors tied for the team-lead in points – Natascha Elias, Tati Dias and Sienna Johnson – each netting 19. Dias dished out nine assists and swiped six steals.
Sierra Johnson (12 points) of Brockton also both reached double figures, while Cynthia Laing added 10 points and nine boards in the victory.

As a team, the Warriors shot 55.7 percent from the floor and totaled 27 steals and scored at least 21 points in all four quarters of action.

Great Bay drops to 1-8 on the year.
