ROXBURY, Mass. ---- The No. 2-ranked Roxbury CC Tigers totaled four players with 20-plus points as they topped the Massasoit women's basketball team, 120-30, on Thursday evening.
Massasoit (0-11, 0-9) was led by Tiana McQueen, who finished with 21 points on 7-of-15 shooting. The sophomore post player also pulled down 10 rebounds for a double-double. In addition, McQueen went 7-for-9 at the foul line.
Roxbury led 62-20 at the break.
Taj Lewis topped all scorers with 26 for the Tigers. Shontia Punter and Morgan Belanger each netted 24 in the victory.
The Warriors will host UCAP on Saturday at 1 p.m. as part of Massasoit Fan Appreciation Day.
