BROCKTON, Mass. ---- Sophomore Tiana McQueen (Boston) posted her second double-double in as many games, but a big first half lead by Bunker Hill proved to be the difference as the Bulldogs defeated the Massasoit women's basketball team, 66-22, on Thursday.
Massasoit (0-2) received 10 points and 12 rebounds from McQueen in the loss.
Laura Ellis (Raynham) added nine points and four steals, while Olivia Curtin (Abington) chipped in with six boards and five steals.
Leading convincingly 35-5 at the break, the Bulldogs snapped Massasoit's three-game win streak over Bunker Hill.
Next up for the Warriors is a Saturday contest at Holyoke CC slated for 1 p.m.
