UTICA, N.Y. ---- Sofia Cameron (East Bridgewater) and Angelo Monsini (Plymouth) broke school records in the 10,000-meter and 200-meter races to highlight Massasoit's sixth consecutive trip to the NJCAA Track National Championships hosted by Mohawk Valley Community College.

Cameron bested her own school record in the 10k event by nearly four minutes, placing eighth overall in a time of 52:05.03. The East Bridgewater native's eighth place finish marks the highest ever by a Massasoit female student-athlete at Nationals in program history.

Monisini, who competed in both the 100m and 200m, set a personal and school record in the 200m. The Plymouth native sprinted to a time of 22.55 seconds, topping Alex MacMillan's record of 22.57 set back in 2015. For his efforts, Monsini placed 11th in the event.

Monsini also finished 13th overall in the 100m event, in a time of 11.25 seconds. His time marks the fastest ever by a Massasoit student-athlete in the 100m at Nationals, and the second fastest in program history.
