BROCKTON, Mass. ---- Leonardo Teixeira (Brockton) notched a hattrick and Maldini Da Fonseca (Brockton) added two goals and two assists as the Massasoit men's soccer team blew past NHTI, 7-0, on Thursday at Warrior Field.

The Warriors (2-4-1) put on a blitz attack against the visiting Lynx, scoring three times in the first 10 minutes of action, two coming off the foot of Teixeira.

In the second half, Esteven Gomes (Brockton) and Jorge Goncalves (Brockton) each added goals to the box score to go along with Teixeira and Da Fonseca's scoring.

The Warrior defense held NHTI at bay, allowing only one shot on goal all afternoon, as keeper David Isaac (Haiti) tallied the clean sheet in the victory.

Massasoit hosts ASA Brooklyn on Saturday at 2 PM.
