BROCKTON, Mass. ---- Kessy Alves (Brockton/Southeastern Voc.) is coming off the best week of his young career on the Massasoit men's soccer team. For his efforts, the freshman was named the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Junior College Player of the Week.

Alves was a critical piece up top as the forward helped Massasoit post a perfect 3-0 record for the week as he came off the bench and scored at least one goal in all three matches. The Brockton native started the week getting involved in all four goals of a 4-1 win at Holyoke CC. Alves netted the first goal before assisting on the next three for the Warriors. He scored a goal at New Hampshire Tech in the second game of the week, before capping of his excellent play with his first collegiate hat trick against the American International College JV squad.

He finished the week with five goals and three assists.
