NJCAA Preseason Poll
BROCKTON, Mass. ---- The NJCAA Men's Soccer Division I Preseason National Poll was released on Monday, with the Massasoit CC men's soccer team earning a No. 12 overall ranking.
The Warriors, coming off a 14-5-1 record from a season ago, finished the 2014 campaign ranked No. 14 in the country. Massasoit fell in the Northeast District Championship to eventual NJCAA Tournament runner's up, Monroe College, to conclude last year.
This season marks the first time Massasoit has appeared in the NJCAA preseason poll since the 2011 campaign, when the Warriors notched the No. 20 spot.
Head coach Rui Estrela, entering his 10th season with the Warriors, returns six letterwinners from last season's squad.
Joining Massasoit in the preseason poll are a pair of schools on the Warriors' 2015 schedule: No. 3 Monroe College and No. 14 Monroe Community College.
