BROCKTON, Mass. ---- Joel Lobo (Brockton) tied a career-high with four goals and Pepe Vieira (Brockton) and Vangjel Kutulla (Norwood) each scored twice as the Massasoit men's soccer team captured the regular season finale 8-1 over Bristol CC on Friday afternoon.
The victory puts Massasoit at 13-4 overall for the season as the Warriors have won nine consecutive matches.
The Warriors will host CCRI on Saturday, Nov. 1 in the Region XXI Championship.
In the opening half, the Warriors held a convincing 3-0 lead at intermission as Lobo, Vieira and Kutulla all found the back of the net.
In the second half, Massasoit continued to pepper the net, scoring five more times for the convincing victory.
In total, Massasoit outshot the Bristol Bees 32 to four overall.
