BOSTON ---- Bunker Hill scored two goals in a one-minute span in the opening half to fuel a 3-1 victory over the Massasoit men's soccer team on Wednesday afternoon.

Massasoit (4-4) yielded goals in the 20th and 21st minute, falling in a 2-0 hole at the break.

BHCC would expand its lead to 3-0, before Pepe Vieira (Brockton) slipped one past the keeper on a pass from Joel Lobo (Brockton) to round out the scoring on the afternoon.

"We were absolutely manhandled by Bunker Hill today," head coach Rui Estrela said after the loss. "We played with no desire, no toughness, from the beginning to the end."

WHY MASSASOIT LOST: Coach Estrela stated that toughness was one of the key reasons the Warriors lost on Wednesday. In addition, Massasoit took a total of 16 shots, but only put one in the back of the net. The Warriors have scored just two goals in the last three games.
