Warrior Golf Tied For Seventh Entering Third Round of NJCAA’s

CHAUTAUQUA, New York ---- The Massasoit golf team posted three individual rounds in the mid-80s to card a 342 team score, sitting tied for seventh overall through two rounds of the NJCAA National Tournament hosted by Jamestown CC on Wednesday.

Massasoit's two-day total of 669 (327+342=669) ranks tied for seventh with SUNY Adirondack College.

The Warriors were led by Chris McMorrow's (Weymouth) 83, who ranks 16th individually out of the 85 total golfers, tallying a 158 (+14) during the past two days. His 158 score marks the lowest out of the nine Region 21 golfers participating.

Right behind McMorrow's Wednesday tally, were teammates Jack DeCoste (Sandwich) with an 84, Chris Flipp (Weymouth) with an 85 and Shawn McIsaac (Avon) recording an even 90.

Massasoit returns to the links for the third round on Thursday, with tee times yet to be determined.
