BROCKTON, Mass. ---- The Massasoit men's basketball team ran out of steam, falling to Gateway CC 96-81 on Tuesday night.

The Warriors (7-5) trailed just 48-45 at the break, but the Lions (6-6) built up a double digit lead in the early goings of the second stanza.

Late in the second half, Massasoit would get as close as five points, but could get no closer.

Bobby Belezos (Holbrook) and Mark Georges (Brockton) led Massasoit with 22 points each, while Jarice Harris (Brockton) hit five 3s on his way to 21 points.

The Warriors travel to STCC on Saturday.
