BROCKTON, Mass. ---- The Massasoit men's basketball team played right with Bunker Hill, but the Bulldogs led wire-to-wire, narrowly defeating the Warriors 85-80 on Thursday night at The Pete.

BHCC jumped out to an early double-digit lead, but the Warriors would not go away quietly, trailing just 39-33 at halftime.

In the second half, the Warriors stayed within striking distance and knotted the score up at 50-all, when Rollsky Edouard buried a 3-pointer with just under 12 minutes to play.

However, Massasoit could never take the lead in the contest.

Later, the Warriors pulled within a single basket in the game's final minute, but BHCC sank two clutch free throws to ice the game.

Bobby Belezos (Holbrook) led Massasoit with a career-high 25 points, shooting 9 of 18 from the field.

Sam Brown (Raynham) just missed a double-double with 14 points and nine boards, while Rollsky Edouard (14 points), Gilbert Minaya (14 points) and Mark Georges (10 points) all scored in double figures.

BHCC was led by Jamaurie Coakley's 25 points.
