QUINCY, Mass. ---- The high-powered Quincy College offense proved to be too much for the visiting Massasoit men's basketball team as the Warriors fell 94-75 on Tuesday night on the campus of Eastern Nazarene College.

The loss snapped a 7-game win streak for the Warriors (7-4), as Quincy (10-1) extended its own win streak to 10 games, with its lone loss on the year coming in the season opener at CCRI.

The Massasoit defense had been a key reason as part of its recent win streak, holding the opposition to just 55 points per game over the past seven contests. Quincy nearly scored that in the first half, leading 53-37 at the break.

All five Warriors starters scored in double figures as Jovani Harper-Lopez (Randolph) and Mark Munroe (Quincy) tied for team-high honors with 16 points each. Harper-Lopez added 12 rebounds and Munroe corralled 11 boards for double-doubles.

Rollsky Edouard (Holbrook) filled up the box score with 14 points, five rebounds, five assists and five steals in the loss.

As a team, Massasoit struggled from long range, making just 4-of-21 attempts from beyond the arc. The Warriors also had difficulty maintaining possession as the Granite defense forced Massasoit into committing 24 turnovers.

The Warriors close out the first semester hosting Quinsigamond on Thursday at 7:30 PM.
