BROCKTON, Mass. ---- Colin Campbell (Holbrook), Leland Jackson (Atlanta) and Paul Bentley (Bloomfield, Conn.) all surpassed 20 points as the Massasoit men's basketball team rocked Roxbury, 92-64, on Tuesday night.
Massasoit evened up its record at 5-5 with the victory and hosts MassBay CC on Thursday at 6 p.m.
Campbell poured in a career-high 28 points to lead all scorers. The sophomore went to the line 18 times and connected on 14 attempts and tallied four 3-point plays in the victory.
Next on the scoring ledger was Jackson, who finished with 27 points, 17 of which came in the first half.
The Warriors held a commanding 53-34 edge at the break.
Bentley came off the bench to net 21, including a pair of 3s.
Roxbury (3-6) was led by Ebrahim Jallow's 17 points.
A total of 59 fouls were called in the game, with six players fouling out. Massasoit went 22 for 32 at the line.
