BROCKTON, Mass. ---- The Massasoit men's basketball team registered three players with 20 or more points and scored 60 points in the second half to earn a 91-79 come-from-behind victory against Holyoke CC on Saturday afternoon.

Leland Jackson (Atlanta, Ga.) led all scorers with 25 points and added 10 rebounds (seven offensive) for his first double-double of the season as the Warriors evened up their record at 3-3.

Paul Bentley (Bloomfield, Conn.) poured in a career-high 22 points on 7-of-12 shooting, while Colin Campbell (Holbrook) finished with 20 points, eight rebounds and five assists in the win.

Massasoit trailed the visiting Cougars 37-31 at the break and by as much as 13 in the opening half.

After intermission, the Warriors heated up from the field, led by Jackson.

With 5:20 to go in the contest, Bentley converted a three-point play, to put Massasoit up 72-71.

Jackson followed with a jumper and went on to score the next 12 points for Massasoit, including back-to-back 3s as part of a 15-3 run over a three-minute span. The big run put the Warriors up by double digits as Massasoit would not relinquish the lead the rest of the way.

Massasoit shot a blistering 61.7 percent (24-for-31) from the floor in the second half, featuring Jackson going 8-for-12.

Jashawn Houston (Randolph) also reached double figures with 12 points off the bench on 4-of-5 shooting and added five steals. Amadeus Pires (Brockton) pulled down a career-best 13 boards and added seven points in the win.

Holyoke placed four players in double figures, led by Mahmood Bey's 18.

The Warriors host Roxbury CC on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
