CHARLESTOWN, Mass. ---- Ian Nadeau fired six solid innings and the Massasoit baseball team scored six times in the top of the second to fuel an 11-1 victory at Bunker Hill on Tuesday afternoon.

Massasoit (8-19, 4-9 R21) finished with 15 hits as six players posted multi-hit performances. Leading the offense was Jonathan O'Donnell of Hull who went a perfect 3-for-3 and drove in three runs. Bobby Belezos (Holbrook) went 2-for-2 with a double and two RBI, while Aidan O'Neill (Halifax), Josh Truehart (Brockton), James Sneyd (Scituate) and Luke DiTondo (Marshfield) each collected two hits each.

Leading 1-0 entering the top of the second, Massasoit scored six times to break the game open. O'Donnell ripped a two-run base hit to highlight the frame as the first five batters reached and scored in the inning.

From there it was all Nadeau, as the Brockton native, went the distance, tossing all six innings, yielding only four hits and one unearned run to up his record to 4-3 on the season. The freshman finished with seven strikeouts and did not walk a batter, retiring the first nine Bulldogs he faced.

The Warriors play out of conference on Wednesday with a road trip to face the Eastern Connecticut State JV team before hosting Holyoke on Saturday at Columbo Field to round out the regular season.
