HOLYOKE, Mass. ---- Ty Hawkins (Brentwood, N.Y.) and Shardajah Collins (Winter Haven, Fla.)combined for 77 points as the No. 4 Massasoit women's basketball team won in convincing fashion on the road at Holyoke CC, 111-38, on Monday afternoon.

Massasoit scored 35 points in the first quarter and cruised to victory, improving to 2-0 on the young season.

Hawkins finished with 45 points on 18 of 28 shooting, along with nine assists, seven steals and five rebounds.

Collins poured in 32 points and added eight assists and six steals.

Aliza Bell (Stonington, Conn.) chipped in with 14 points and nine boards and Adrianna Grant (Brentwood, N.Y.) netted 11 points in the win.

The Warriors play at Roxbury CC on Thursday.
