BROCKTON, Mass. ---- The top-ranked Massasoit women's basketball team scored 37 points in the fourth quarter to earn a 111-80 victory vs the University of Connecticut at Avery Point.

Massasoit improved to 17-1 overall on the season and stayed perfect in league play at 12-0 with the victory.

UCAP played right with the Warriors, as Massasoit held a slim 51-44 at the break.

Leading 74-62 heading into the fourth quarter, the Warriors exploded outscoring the Pointers 37-17 in the final period.

Nina Robinson and Shania Osborne were monsters in the post for the Green and White combining for 49 points (Robinson 26, Osborne 23).

Guards Daja Polk and Ky'Jae Hargrove added 18 and 17 points respectively, while Alyson Reid chipped in with 11.

Ashley Burke paced the Pointers with 26 points.

Massasoit hosts Quinsigamond on Saturday at 1 PM.
