BROCKTON, Mass. ---- Julia Molnar (Hungary) celebrated her birthday tying a career-high with 16 points to lead four players in double figures as the Massasoit women's basketball team defeated Quinsigamond, 70-35, on Thursday night.
Massasoit (3-6) snapped a six-game losing streak and is off until January 6, when the Warriors trek to Concord, NH to compete in a two-day tournament hosted by the New Hampshire Technical Institute.
Molnar shot 7-for-11 from the field en route to her 16 poitns, while Sienna Johnson (Brockton) added 14 points, Sierra Johnson (Brockton) 11 and Sasha Gagnon (Brockton) 10 in the victory.
Sierra Johnson also finished two assists shy of a triple-double, adding 11 rebounds and eight assits to her double digit point total.
Quinsigamond (0-6) was led by Shelby Maiorana's 16 points.
