ROXBURY, Mass. ---- Roxbury jumped out to an early lead and defeated the Massasoit women's basketball team 100-62 on Thursday night.

Massasoit finished with four players in double figures, but a RCC 37-14 first quarter advantage was too much to overcome.

Sienna Johnson (Brockton) led the Warriors (2-5, 2-3) with 15 points, followed by twin sister Sierra Johnson's 13. Courtney Foley (Holbrook) netted 11 and Sasha Gagnon (Brockton) chipped in with 10 in the loss.

Charee Osborne and Brooklin Davis each poured in 25 points apiece for the Tigers as they improved to 5-3 overall and 3-0 in league play.

RCC has won 11-straight against the Warriors.

Massasoit hosts UConn-Avery Point on Tuesday at 6 PM.
