BROCKTON, Mass. ---- The Massasoit women's basketball team scored 60 points in the second half and placed four players in double figures to win in commanding fashion over Quinsigamond, 96-43.
Natascha Elias (Brockton) and Geornaisha Silva-Moore (Brockton) led all scorers, netting 26 each in the victory. The duo combined for 10 3-pointers, seven coming in the second half.
Tatiana Dias (Brockton) posted her first triple-double as a Warrior, totaling 18 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds.
Laura Malley (Halifax) added a double-double of her own with 14 points and 11 boards, six offensive.
Massasoit led 36-15 at the break before exploding for 31 points in the third quarter. For the game, Massasoit totaled 20 steals and committed a season-low seven turnovers.
The Warriors return to the hardwood next Tuesday to host Dean College at 6 p.m.
