Women's Basketball Throttles Quinsigamond, 82-32

WORCESTER, Mass. ---- A balanced high-powered offensive attacked led the Massasoit women's basketball team by Quinsigamond CC, 82-32, on Saturday.

Tatiana Dias (Brockton) led four Warriors in double figures with 19 points. Cynthia Laing (Boston) was next in the scoring department, netting a career-high 18, while Natascha Elias (Brockton) and Geornaisha Silva-Moore (Brockton) finished with 16 and 12 respectively.
Dias also dished out a career-high 12 assists and tallied five swipes.
Laura Malley (Halifax) just missed a double-double, pulling down 11 rebounds paired with eight points.
"We did a much better job of getting our post players involved today," head coach Taryn Johnson said. "We also did a great job of taking care of the basketball and limited our turnovers. This is a great win for us and hopefully some momentum carries over against Roxbury."
The Warriors host nationally ranked Roxbury on Tuesday at 5 p.m.
