FRANKLIN, Mass. ---- The Massasoit women's basketball team saw a first half lead quickly evaporate, falling 70-46 on the road at Dean College.

The Warriors (0-2) led 18-17 after one quarter of play and 30-26 at the half behind Geornaisha Silva-Moore's 10 points.

Following intermission, Dean amped up the pressure, forcing 22 second half turnovers and outscored the Warriors 44-16 the rest of the way.

Silva-Moore netted a game-best 25 points, shooting 10-of-19 from the floor including 5-of-7 from downtown. She added six rebounds and three steals.

Laura Malley (Halifax) pulled down a team-high 11 boards and added six points. Natascha Elias and Tatiana Dias, both from Brockton, both chipped in with seven points each. Dias also dished out six assists in the loss.
