BROCKTON, Mass. ---- The Massasoit men's soccer team rallied from down a goal in the second half to defeat Bristol CC, 2-1, at Warrior Field in its final home game of the 2016 season.

Goalie Ollie Dagraca (Brockton) made nine big saves to help give the Warriors the victory and improve to 9-4-1 on the season.

Bristol drops to 10-4 with the loss.

With the score deadlocked in a scoreless tie, it was the visiting Bayhawks that would strike first right after intermission. In the 48th minute, Edmilson Andrade served a ball into the box where Roberto Dos Santos was there to put Bristol up 1-0.

Just four minutes later, Massasoit's Deivys D'Almeida (New Bedford) was taken down in the box by a Bristol defender. Teammate Edgar Lopez (Seekonk), a Bristol transfer, rocketed home the penalty kick to even up the score.

The back-and-forth contest continued, until Ienik Spencer (Pawtucket, R.I.) buried a through ball pass from Sidney Cardoso (Portugal) in the 69th minute, for what proved to be the game winner.

Massasoit finished with 22 shots, 13 coming on net.

The Warriors are off until Saturday, Oct. 29, with a road contest at CCRI.
