BROCKTON, Mass. ---- Andrew Revanales was recently named NSCAA Junior College Player of the Week for his efforts in leading the Massasoit men's soccer team to capturing the NJCAA Region 21 Championship over Dean College last Saturday.
Revanales netted the game-winning golden goal with 52 seconds left in the second overtime period to upset previously unbeaten Dean, 4-3, in dramatic fashion on the road.
Revanales, from Trinidad, dished out an assist in the first half and added two goals after intermission, including the game winner.
It marks the second time this season Revanales has been named NSCAA Player of the Week.
The Warriors now head to the Northeast District Tournament, hosted by Mercer County CC in Trenton, N.J. on Nov. 7-8.
