BOSTON ---- Sophomore Gilbert Minaya (Lynn) netted 20 points and freshman Nathanial Semedo added 18 as the Massasoit men's basketball team snapped a three-game skid with a 63-49 victory at Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology (BFIT) on Tuesday night.

Massasoit (1-3) led built up an 11-point lead at intermission, taking a 31-20 advantage into the locker room at the half.

Minaya finished 6-of-8 from the floor on his way to a team-best 20-point effort. He added four assists and four rebounds to his stat line.

Bryan Tyrie (Whitman) contributed a double-double with 11 points and 15 boards, and Nash Girodier pulled down 11 boards in the victory.

Massasoit hosts Bunker Hill on Saturday at 3 PM.
