FALL RIVER, Mass. ---- The Massasoit men's basketball team fell into a 22-point hole at halftime and was unable to recover, dropping a 93-60 decision at Bristol CC on Thursday evening.
Massasoit (5-4, 4-2) hosts Quinsigamond CC on Saturday at 3 PM.
Mike Ward (Brockton) led the Warriors with 16 points on 7-of-13 shooting and added six rebounds. Jovani Harper-Lopez (Randolph) added 11 points and Connor Schaefer (Bourne) contributed six points and 10 rebounds in the loss.
Bristol led 49-27 at the half.
The Bayhawks placed six players in double figures, led by Chad NGuia's 24 points. Bristol finished with 50 team rebounds, 21 coming on the offensive glass.
