Balanced Attack Pushes Men's Hoops Past Gateway, 68-52
BROCKTON, Mass. ---- Paul Bentley (Bloomfield, Conn.) scored 20 points off the bench to lead a balanced and efficient Massasoit men's basketball team past Gateway, 68-52, on Saturday afternoon.
Bentley scored 13 of his points after intermission and knocked down a trio of 3s to up Massasoit's record to 9-9 overall.
Massasoit finished with six players netting six-or-more points, as Nda Nnoli (Brockton) and Myles Dias (Carver) reached double figures with 13 and 12 points, respectively.
The Warriors led 31-25 at the break.
Massasoit shot 13-for-16 at the free throw line.
Next up is a home game against Quinsigamond set for Tuesday at 7 p.m.
