Massasoit's Fredi Lawson & Chris Green Named NJCAA All-Americans

BROCKTON, Mass. ---- Fredi Lawson of the women's basketball team and Chris Green of the men's squad both represented Massasoit Community College on the All-American teams, recently announced by the National Junior College Athletic Association.

Lawson, from Boston, earned All-American Second Team accolades, while Green (Taunton) received the nod on the third team. Both players were also named First Team All-Region XXI as well.

The women's basketball team had a memorable season in 2013-14 and Lawson was in the center of it. The sophomore competing in her first season with the Warriors led Massasoit to the team's first-ever Region XXI Championship and an automatic bid to the NJCAA National Tournament.
