FRAMINGHAM, Mass. ---- Tim DeCouto (Whitman) tossed a complete-game shutout and five players posted multi-hit games as the Massasoit baseball team blanked MassBay, 20-0, on Sunday afternoon.
The victory extends Massasoit's winning streak to four, as the Warriors have now earned victories in six of the last seven contests
Luke Lewando (Brockton), Luis Ramirez (Dedham) and Dylan Edes (Holbrook) all recorded three-hit days at the dish. Nick Andrews (Raynham) collected four RBI and Aidan O'Neill (Halifax) and Ramirez each knocked in three.
On the bump, DeCouto went the distance, scattering four hits and striking out six to earn the complete game victory.
The Warriors are now off until Wednesday, when they travel to Quinsigamond for a 3:30 PM game.
